If you do not accept these terms, we recommend that you do not access or use the SynkroMedia website.
SynkroMedia reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to adapt to technological advancements, legislative changes, or regulatory updates. If these modifications significantly impact the services provided to the client, SynkroMedia may, at its sole discretion, notify the client in writing. However, SynkroMedia is not obligated to provide such notice. Any modifications to the Terms and Conditions will take effect immediately upon being published on the SynkroMedia website.
The services offered on the SynkroMedia website are exclusively available to individuals who have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Specifically, our services are reserved for individuals aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may only use the SynkroMedia website with the permission and under the supervision of your parents or legal guardians. SynkroMedia also reserves the right to restrict access to its website for users who have been temporarily or permanently suspended. If your registration is completed on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are duly authorized to represent the company.
To open an account and/or request a quote for our services, contact us via email or phone.
You agree to keep your contact information up to date and to inform us of any changes (relocation, email address update, etc.) within a maximum of 10 days. You can update your contact information by emailing us or calling us directly.
By agreeing, you authorize SynkroMedia to use and rely on the information you provide to offer its services, in accordance with its Privacy Policy. If you provide invalid, misleading, or incomplete information, or if SynkroMedia has reasons to believe this is the case, SynkroMedia reserves the right to suspend your services and close your account.
You agree to use your account solely for lawful purposes and to take full responsibility for the content and data associated with it. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your login information, including your account number, username, and password (“Account Access Credentials”), as well as any activity conducted through your account.
In the event of unauthorized use of your account or a security breach, you agree to notify SynkroMedia immediately. SynkroMedia is not liable for any losses resulting from the use of your Account Access Credentials by a third party, whether or not you are aware of such use. You also acknowledge that you may be held responsible for losses incurred by SynkroMedia or third parties due to unauthorized access to your Account Access Credentials. SynkroMedia strongly recommends keeping your Credentials secure and taking all necessary precautions to prevent their access or use by others. Any actions that compromise the security of your account or SynkroMedia’s infrastructure are strictly prohibited.
While SynkroMedia implements various measures to ensure the availability and reliability of data hosted on its servers, you agree that it is your responsibility to maintain backups of all your data. SynkroMedia cannot be held liable for any loss, error, or service interruption, whether within or beyond its control.
You are solely responsible for the content hosted on your accounts, as well as all activities carried out on them. This includes activities initiated by you, third parties on your behalf, or any other means. SynkroMedia disclaims any liability for activities conducted on your account, whether authorized by you or not. For more information on prohibited activities, we invite you to consult our Acceptable Use Policy here: https://synkromedia.com/legal/.
SynkroMedia reserves the right to suspend or terminate, without prior notice, any account that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for all its customers.
Whenever possible, SynkroMedia will attempt to notify you of any suspension or termination. However, in certain situations, immediate suspension may be necessary to prevent issues that could affect other users or the integrity of the infrastructure.
To disable the automatic renewal of your service, you must submit a cancellation request via email or phone at least 10 days before the service expiration date. This request must include all necessary information to allow a SynkroMedia representative to accurately identify your account, such as the full domain name and the type of account in question.
For certain services, SynkroMedia offers courtesy backup copies to protect your data. However, it is the client’s responsibility to regularly perform backups on a local machine for all important data stored on the server.
Backups for: Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, and Email
SynkroMedia performs automatic courtesy backups for most web hosting accounts. However, these backups are not guaranteed, and SynkroMedia cannot be held responsible for the absence or failure of the backup service. To reduce the load on its systems, SynkroMedia reserves the right to disable automatic backups for any account using more than 10 GB of disk space or containing over 100,000 files or folders, without prior notice.
Clients have the option to manually create backup copies from their server. However, they agree not to store these backups on the server for more than 7 days and to limit their storage to a single copy at a time.
Backups for Cloud or Dedicated Servers
For Cloud or Dedicated servers, customers have the option to enable external backup, either during their initial order or at any time afterward by contacting us via email or phone. Once activated, SynkroMedia configures automatic backups using specialized software.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the backed-up data does not exceed the storage capacity of the chosen option. If it does, backups will be suspended until you increase the capacity by contacting us via email or phone.
SynkroMedia relies on third-party software to perform automatic backups. Occasional technical issues may occur, leading to partial or complete backup failures. We recommend regularly testing your backups and reporting any issues to the SynkroMedia support team, who will take the necessary steps to resolve them.
SynkroMedia is fully committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information unless required by your service contract or by law. To view our full privacy policy, visit: https://synkromedia.com/privacy-policy/.
Our Acceptable Use Policy clearly outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of our services. You can review it in detail at the following address: https://synkromedia.com/legal/.
SynkroMedia offers innovative AI-based services, such as website creation tools and domain name suggestion tools. By accessing these services, you agree to the terms of our Artificial Intelligence Policy, available here: https://synkromedia.com/legal/. This policy outlines the specific terms related to the use of SynkroMedia’s AI-powered services, including your responsibilities regarding user-provided data and the use of AI-generated results.
The registration, renewal, and transfer of domain names must comply with our Domain Name Policy, available at the following address: https://synkromedia.com/legal/.
When purchased with certain types of domain names, the Identity Protection service (also known as Domain Privacy) is designed to safeguard customers’ personal information by masking it in the public WHOIS database. This service replaces the customer’s personal details with those of the privacy service, providing an additional layer of protection. However, it cannot prevent third parties from publishing this information or remove public WHOIS data already saved and shared before the service was activated.
It is important to note that Identity Protection is not available for all types of top-level domains (TLDs) and is neither refundable nor covered by our satisfaction guarantee.
The customer must ensure that their contact details are always up to date by promptly informing us of any changes via email or phone at any time.
The installation and use of SSL certificates provided by SynkroMedia are governed by the terms and conditions of Let’s Encrypt. For each website hosted with SynkroMedia, a security certificate is automatically generated and managed by Let’s Encrypt. SSL certificates will only be issued for domain names pointing to SynkroMedia’s hosting server. Only one SSL certificate can be installed per hosting account and per IP address. These certificates are neither transferable nor refundable after 30 days from the date of purchase.
The SynkroMedia Technical Support Service provides technical expertise billed in 30-minute increments, based on the hourly rate specified in your service contract. If a phone consultation is required, a SynkroMedia agent will contact you as soon as possible, depending on their availability.
While our technicians make every effort to complete the requested tasks within the allotted time, SynkroMedia cannot guarantee specific results through its Technical Support Service. Results depend on the complexity of the project and the time available. If a task cannot be completed within the allocated time, you will be informed and given the option to purchase additional hours to complete the work.
Please note that the Technical Support Service is non-refundable once the task is completed and is not covered by our satisfaction guarantee. All fees associated with this service must be paid within five (5) days of the work’s completion.
All dedicated IP addresses assigned to you must be managed in compliance with the policies and regulations established by ARIN (https://www.arin.net/policy/nrpm.html).
If you have ordered multiple IP addresses with your Cloud or Dedicated server, these must be used for at least 80% of their capacity within 30 days of assignment.
For web hosting and WordPress hosting services, a shared IP address will initially be assigned to you. You then have the option to request one (1) dedicated IP address per hosting account for an additional fee. SynkroMedia reserves the right to evaluate each request for a dedicated IP address and deny it if it does not meet ARIN’s regulatory requirements.
SynkroMedia retains exclusive control and ownership rights over all assigned IP addresses and may, at its discretion, modify or withdraw these addresses without prior notice.
Please note that a change to a dedicated IP address may result in up to 24 hours of website downtime due to DNS propagation.
In most cases, SynkroMedia can assist you with transferring your website from a compatible external provider to our servers. However, this service is offered as a courtesy, and we cannot guarantee its feasibility, accuracy, or the time required to complete it. Since every hosting provider is different, some platforms use proprietary or incompatible data formats, which may complicate or even make it impossible to partially or fully migrate the data from an account. In some cases, technical limitations beyond our direct control may also prevent us from transferring your data from your previous provider.
The free website migration service must be requested within 30 days of activating your order. To do so, you must send an email to support@synkromedia.com with all the access details for your account with your previous hosting provider. Unless otherwise stated in writing, this free service is limited to one website, 10 GB of data, and one database. For more complex or multi-property transfers, please contact us to confirm the terms and any applicable fees.
Migration requests made after the initial 30-day period can still be handled but will be subject to the standard rates of the Technical Support Service.
The SynkroMedia affiliate program offers commissions for referring new clients to SynkroMedia. The terms and conditions of the affiliate program are available at: https://synkromedia/legal/.
SynkroMedia is not directly affiliated with any search engine and is not responsible for your website’s ranking in search results. However, SynkroMedia offers certain Web Marketing and SEO Services that could help you achieve a favorable ranking on specific search engines using targeted keywords. SynkroMedia cannot guarantee specific results but is committed to following the best practices recommended by search engines. Our goal is to optimize your website’s visibility for targeted keywords and phrases.
SynkroMedia is fully committed to your satisfaction and offers a money-back guarantee: if, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the service received within 30 days of your purchase, SynkroMedia will refund the fees associated with shared web hosting. This guarantee applies exclusively to eligible services, as specified in paragraph 16 of these Terms and Conditions.
SynkroMedia is committed to providing fast and efficient technical support to resolve any issues you may have. Our support team will respond to your email inquiries within 24 to 48 hours, although we generally strive to get back to you even faster.
The 24 to 48-hour response time does not apply in certain cases, including: incomplete assistance requests, requests that do not reach us, those unrelated to our web hosting or domain name management services, requests that fall outside the scope of our technical support, or inquiries that have already received a response but require additional time due to circumstances beyond our control.
For emergencies requiring assistance in less than 24 hours, we encourage you to contact our technical support team by phone.
At SynkroMedia, we understand the critical importance of having a website that is always accessible. That’s why we commit, to the extent possible, to maintaining 99.9% server uptime, calculated on a monthly basis. Our servers are considered operational when they respond to PING requests from at least two external monitoring services.
Planned or announced interruptions related to maintenance operations are not included in the calculation of monthly uptime. Similarly, sporadic or localized outages caused by network conditions beyond our control on the Internet will not be included. Errors in account or DNS management by the Client, as well as issues related to programming or configuration errors in the Client’s web applications, are also excluded from this calculation
Renewal invoices will be sent via email to the address associated with your account. Unless otherwise specified, SynkroMedia will automatically charge the total amount due to the credit card on file in your account, 5 days prior to your service renewal date. If you wish to cancel your services, you must notify us via email at least 10 days before the renewal date. Please note that renewal payments are non-refundable.
By making a purchase with a credit card or by registering a valid card on your account, you authorize SynkroMedia to automatically charge renewal fees to that card before your service expires. However, you may disable automatic payments by submitting a written cancellation request at least 10 days prior to the due date.
Any service not paid by its due date may be suspended or permanently terminated at SynkroMedia’s sole discretion. Reactivation fees may apply for any suspended service that you wish to reactivate.
Please ensure that your email address is current and valid in our records to receive all important communications related to your account, including invoices and expiration notifications.
SynkroMedia accepts payments via Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal (including American Express). For amounts over $50.00 CAD, we also accept other payment methods such as checks, money orders, Interac email transfers, bank transfers, and direct deposits at CIBC branch counters.
All payments must be made in the local currency unless otherwise specified. An initial deposit is required before activating any service, and subsequent invoices must be paid in full before their due date. Late payments will incur interest of 2% per month, compounded monthly (equivalent to an annual rate of 26.86%). Additionally, any returned check for insufficient funds or chargeback will result in an extra fee of $50 plus taxes.
Any manual payment (check, bank transfer, money order, Interac) must be for a minimum amount of $50.00. If the payment exceeds the invoiced amount, the surplus will be credited to your account. Manual payments under $50.00 will incur an additional administrative fee of $20.00 plus taxes.
Credits available on an account are not automatically applied to an invoice. They must be manually allocated to the relevant invoice upon your request.
SynkroMedia may occasionally offer special promotions when purchasing new services or upgrading existing ones. Unless otherwise stated, these promotional rates apply only to the first billing cycle. Afterward, services will renew at the standard rate as indicated on your order or invoice. Promotional codes are not valid for renewals. SynkroMedia reserves the right to cancel any promotional discount in cases of abuse, at its sole discretion.
You can submit a refund request to SynkroMedia by sending an email for this purpose. Refunds will only be granted after approval by SynkroMedia and apply solely to services paid for but not provided or performed. No refund is possible if the work has been fully completed or the product has been activated.
Refunds are available only for payments made by credit card or via PayPal and will be processed to the original payment method. Transaction fees will apply to cover non-refundable costs associated with credit card payments. Payments made by check, money order, bank transfer, or email Interac can only be refunded in the form of account credit. Prepaid funds are non-refundable if the work has been fully completed or the product has already been activated.
Refunds issued by SynkroMedia are generally processed within 30 days following the receipt of a complete request. However, some banking institutions may apply additional delays before releasing the funds.
Please note that products and services not related to shared web hosting are not eligible for refunds. This includes, but is not limited to, domain name registrations and renewals, dedicated servers (including license fees for control panels and operating systems), and the Webmaster Assistance service. Renewals, as well as installation and configuration fees, are also non-refundable.
If a non-refundable product or service was offered for free or at a discounted price when purchasing another product or service, the full initial value of that product or service will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Regarding billing errors, they can be corrected in the form of credit for up to 30 days retroactively. In the unlikely event that you detect an error, we encourage you to contact SynkroMedia as soon as possible to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently.
In the event of a chargeback or canceled check, an administrative fee of $50.00 plus taxes will be applied, in addition to the amounts due on the original invoice.
For any returned check due to insufficient funds, a penalty of $35.00 plus taxes will also be charged, in addition to the original invoice amount.
All services related to your account will be suspended, and the management of associated domain names will be temporarily reassigned to SynkroMedia until all outstanding fees are paid in full.

SynkroMedia reserves the right to modify or terminate the Refer-a-Friend program at any time without prior notice.
Web Hosting Canada (“SYNKROMEDIA”) enforces an Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) to ensure the integrity and performance of its IT infrastructure. In a shared web hosting environment, server resources are used by multiple clients. It is therefore essential that your use of our services does not negatively impact other SynkroMedia users.
The AUP clearly defines what is permitted and what is not on our servers. By subscribing to our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Any violation of the AUP may result in the suspension or termination of your account without prior notice. SynkroMedia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine what constitutes a violation of the AUP.
The use of SynkroMedia’s services for illegal purposes is strictly prohibited. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements. Furthermore, you acknowledge that no refunds for fees paid to SynkroMedia will be granted if, for any reason, SynkroMedia must take punitive action due to the abusive or illegal use of its services.
SynkroMedia reserves the right, at any time, to disclose any information deemed necessary to comply with any law, regulation, legal process, or official request. Additionally, SynkroMedia may, at its sole discretion, modify, refuse to publish, or remove any content or material, in whole or in part. To review our privacy policy, please visit: https://synkromedia.com/privacy-policy/
SynkroMedia enforces a zero-tolerance policy against spam. Sending unsolicited emails, whether from our servers or to them, is strictly prohibited under all circumstances. Any incident involving the mass sending of unsolicited emails will result in a minimum fee of $250.00, plus taxes.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
Our shared web hosting plans are not designed for sending large volumes of emails simultaneously. Each account is subject to a strict limit on the number of emails that can be sent per hour, based on the selected plan as outlined on the SynkroMedia website. Emails exceeding this limit will not be delivered. Specifically, any attempt to send more than 300 emails per hour will be blocked. Additionally, mailing lists are limited to a maximum of 500 recipients.
If you need to send more than 25 emails at once, you must enable the “throttling” feature in your email software. This ensures a minimum interval of 10 seconds between each email, preventing server overload. Any attempt to bypass these restrictions by combining multiple hosting accounts is prohibited.
For legitimate bulk email needs, we encourage you to contact our sales team to explore our tailored email marketing solutions.
Email attachments must not exceed 20 MB. To share larger files, we recommend uploading them to your hosting account and sending a hyperlink via email.
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
On dedicated servers and VPS, no limits apply to sending legitimate emails. You have the freedom to use these services to meet your needs without restriction.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
The disk space provided as part of web hosting is exclusively reserved for files directly related to your website. It must not be used to store personal backups or unrelated files. Only one backup of your hosting account can be temporarily stored on the server, and only for a maximum of 24 hours. Please avoid creating multiple copies of your backups.
Manual backups should only be performed during off-peak hours, specifically between midnight and 6 a.m. It is strictly prohibited to generate backups between 6 a.m. and 11:59 p.m., whether using the backup tool provided by SynkroMedia, automated scripts or tools (including third-party backup services), or plugins such as WordPress extensions.
SynkroMedia regularly performs automated backups for most standard hosting accounts. However, due to the significant resources required for this process, SynkroMedia cannot guarantee the creation or restoration of backups for accounts exceeding 10 gigabytes (GB) of data or 200,000 files and folders (including emails, databases, files, statistics, and configurations). Accounts exceeding these limits may no longer be included in automated backups. However, manual backups can still be performed at any time.
To reactivate automated backups, the client must reduce the total size of their data to less than 20 GB and 200,000 files and folders, then contact the technical support team. Additionally, individual files larger than 1 GB will not be included in external backups.
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
Backup creation is not done automatically and is left to the client’s discretion unless the external backup service has been purchased. It is generally recommended to perform periodic backups of data on an off-server drive. Upon special request and for an additional fee, SynkroMedia can set up automatic backups of the content on dedicated or Cloud servers.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
To ensure the reliability of our services, each hosting account on our shared platform must adhere to resource limits suitable for a typical website under normal operation. An account may not use more than 5% of the server’s total resources for a period exceeding 60 seconds. These resources include CPU cycles, RAM, hard disk storage, and bandwidth. If an account exceeds these limits, it may be temporarily suspended without prior notice to prevent significant server performance issues. In such cases, SynkroMedia will make every effort to contact the customer promptly to resolve the issue. Often, these situations can be addressed by fixing a faulty script, disabling a resource-heavy application, or blocking malicious IP addresses. Accounts that consistently consume excessive resources may be temporarily taken offline and could be asked to migrate to a dedicated or private server, where there are no resource restrictions.
SynkroMedia’s server resources are exclusively intended for hosting your website’s data. They may not be resold or used for other purposes, such as data processing outside the context of serving web pages or other web content accessible to visitors.
It is important to note that a shared hosting environment is not suitable for websites with high resource demands. For such needs, we recommend alternative solutions, such as dedicated servers or Virtual Private Servers (VPS). For more information, feel free to contact our sales team.
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
Clients using a dedicated server or VPS have full control over their server resources. They can utilize these resources to their full capacity without any specific restrictions.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
To ensure an optimal experience for our clients and prevent excessive resource consumption, we have established the following rules regarding the use of disk space on your hosting account:
(b) Dedicated Servers
Dedicated server users have full control over the use of their server’s hard drives and can utilize them without specific limitations.
(c) Cloud Servers
Clients using a Cloud server are limited to a maximum of 1,000,000 files and folders (“inodes”).
(a) Shared Web Hosting
Processes executed by the web server, cron jobs, shell, or any other means must comply with the following limits:
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
Clients using dedicated servers or VPS have full control over their server resources. They may utilize these resources fully without specific restrictions.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
No usage limits are imposed on databases for dedicated servers or VPS.
All software and scripts installed on your account must be free from vulnerabilities, viruses, and malware. The use of software with documented vulnerabilities is strictly prohibited on our servers. It is your responsibility to promptly install security updates for all the software you use.
On shared hosting plans, SynkroMedia provides automatic installation tools capable of managing updates shortly after they are released by developers. However, keeping your software up to date remains your responsibility.
Popular web platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or phpBB, along with their extensions, modules, and plugins, are particularly vulnerable due to their widespread use. Extra caution is therefore required to ensure regular updates and their security.
SynkroMedia reserves the right to disable or remove, at any time and without prior notice, any script or software deemed vulnerable in order to maintain the integrity of our servers.
You agree not to use SynkroMedia servers for any illegal purposes or activities prohibited by this AUP. You also agree to comply with all applicable local, state, federal, or international laws and regulations.
SynkroMedia reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your services if they are used in connection with spam activities or any unethical behavior, including but not limited to:
The following uses of SynkroMedia’s shared servers are strictly prohibited:
By adhering to these rules, you help maintain a safe and compliant environment for all users.
Adult content is not allowed on our shared web hosting service. However, adult content that complies with legal regulations is permitted on our dedicated servers or VPS.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
Due to the complexity of this type of connection, Shell access is only activated upon written request via email. Additionally, the Unix “find” command cannot be used on directories containing more than 5 subdirectories.
(b) Dedicated Servers and VPS
Shell access is available on dedicated servers or VPS running a Linux operating system.
It is prohibited to offer downloads of third-party software (i.e., software, games, or tools that you did not create yourself or for which you do not have an exclusive distribution agreement) from your hosting account. These sites, often referred to as “mirror” download sites, are not allowed. We encourage you to redirect users to the official provider’s website to complete the download instead.
Due to the high resource usage of these programs, the installation and use of real-time chat software is not allowed on shared hosting, unless it is provided by our services.
(a) Shared Web Hosting
Cron jobs can only be executed at intervals of at least 10 minutes. Additionally, two or more Cron jobs cannot run simultaneously; a minimum delay of 5 minutes must be maintained between each execution. Finally, each hosting account is limited to a maximum of 5 scheduled Cron jobs.
SynkroMedia will determine, at its sole discretion, the actions to be taken in the event of a violation of the AUP. SynkroMedia reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in violation of the AUP without notice or refund of prepaid funds. Violating the AUP may also subject you to civil or criminal prosecution.
SynkroMedia reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time, without prior notice. You are responsible for any use of SynkroMedia services by yourself, your employees, agents, contractors, guests, or clients, whether such use is with or without your consent.
To learn more about SynkroMedia’s Acceptable Use Policy, we invite you to contact our support center. Feel free to share your questions or concerns with us, and we will do everything we can to provide the assistance you need.
To report an issue, please contact legal@synkromedia.com or submit an abuse ticket through our help center. Be sure to provide as many details as possible to assist with our investigation. Each complaint will receive a unique ticket number and will be reviewed within 24 hours. If additional information is needed, we will reach out to you. As a domain name holder, it is essential to understand your rights and responsibilities as defined by ICANN policies. In collaboration with the community, ICANN has developed a detailed guide titled Benefits and Responsibilities of Domain Name Registrants. This document highlights fundamental principles and guidelines designed to protect you as a domain name registrant. We strongly encourage you to review it to stay informed and manage your domain registration with confidence.
The registration and use of domain names are subject to the acceptance of this Domain Name Policy, as well as the Domain Registration Agreement available here: https://synkromedia.com/legal/.
Depending on the chosen domain extension, SynkroMedia reserves the right, at its discretion, to register the domain either as an accredited registrar or through a third-party accredited registrar. You can identify the registrar used for your domain by checking a WHOIS lookup tool.
SynkroMedia makes it easy to register available and unclaimed domain names. To check the availability of a domain name, simply send us your list of choices, and we’ll take care of the rest. If a domain name is available, you can reserve it by filling out the form on our website. However, please note that payment for a domain name does not instantly confirm its registration. You will receive a confirmation once the domain name is officially registered under your name, usually within 24 hours of your order. In the rare event that the chosen domain name is unavailable or cannot be registered, our customer service team will assist you in selecting a new domain or provide you with a full refund.
It is your responsibility to renew your domain names with SynkroMedia before their expiration date. To make things easier, SynkroMedia will send you renewal notices and invoices by email prior to your domain’s expiration. Once payment is received, SynkroMedia will attempt to renew your domains on your behalf and will confirm via email once the renewal is successfully completed. If a valid credit card is registered to your account and automatic renewal is enabled, SynkroMedia will automatically charge your card for the renewal before the domain’s expiration date.
In most cases, expired domain names can be renewed within 30 days after their expiration date at the standard rate. However, due to various factors related to the type of domain purchased (also known as a Top-Level Domain or “TLD”), SynkroMedia cannot guarantee the renewal of an expired domain. We commit to making every reasonable effort to process the renewal upon receiving payment, but we cannot guarantee a favorable outcome. If, despite our efforts, the renewal cannot be completed, the amount paid for the renewal will be fully refunded to you.
Some TLDs that have been expired for more than 30 days enter a “Redemption Period,” during which they cannot be transferred or renewed. However, the customer can reactivate their domain name during this period for a fee starting at $400 CAD, in addition to registration fees and taxes, by contacting a sales representative.
The registration and renewal fees for domain names are clearly outlined in the confirmation email for your order and on your renewal invoice. You will also find all details regarding renewal dates and associated costs directly on your invoice.
By registering your domain name with SynkroMedia, you authorize us to act as a management agent to update your domain’s contact information on your behalf. This streamlined approach allows you to make changes easily—just send us a simple email. While providing this convenience, we ensure that you remain the legal and rightful owner of your domain name at all times.
Domain names are non-refundable after registration, transfer, or renewal. However, in the event of a failed registration, transfer, or renewal process, a refund may be granted upon written request, provided the request is made within 30 days of the initial payment.
SynkroMedia cannot be held responsible for any losses arising directly or indirectly from the misconfiguration or improper use of a domain name. Its liability is strictly limited to the fees paid for the initial registration, transfer, or annual renewal of the domain at the time of these transactions.
You have the option to customize your domain configuration (also referred to as zone modifications, or changes to canonical names, addresses, or PTR records) by submitting a specific request through our technical support team. In some cases, SynkroMedia may provide you with a secure interface that allows you to make these changes directly, without intervention from our team. However, it’s important to note that an incorrect domain configuration could make your website inaccessible. By using this interface, you agree to do so at your own risk.
For official policies regarding domain name disputes, please refer to the ICANN Dispute Resolution. For .CA domains, consult the CIRA procedures. SynkroMedia is unable to intervene directly in these disputes.
Each type of domain, known as a TLD (Top-Level Domain), is managed by a dedicated registry that establishes its own terms and conditions for use. By registering your domain with SynkroMedia, you agree to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by your TLD’s registry.
TLDs fall into two main categories: general TLDs (gTLDs) and country-code TLDs (ccTLDs). General TLDs, like .com, .net, and .org, are accessible worldwide without restrictions. In contrast, country-code TLDs, such as .ca, .fr, and .us, are specific to individual countries and may require meeting certain local presence criteria.
Explore the registration policies for gTLD domains, including popular extensions like .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name, .mobi, and .tv.
For detailed information, visit: gTLD Domain Registration Policies.
Domain extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name, .mobi, and .tv must comply with the terms and conditions established by ICANN. https://www.icann.org/privacy/tos.
.CA domain names must comply with the terms and conditions set by CIRA. https://www.cira.ca/en/resources/documents/about/registrant-agreement/.
For .ca domain registrations, it is necessary to confirm your information on the CIRA website by following the instructions sent to you via email within 24 hours of placing your order. If you do not validate this information within the provided timeframe, your order will be canceled. In the event of cancellation, you can request SynkroMedia to submit a new registration request to CIRA, with an additional 7 days to complete the confirmation process. In some cases, the registration may be completed without requiring any additional confirmation steps.
.ca domain registrations are exclusively reserved for Canadian residents and businesses. Requests from non-residents may be denied or canceled without prior notice or refund. For more information, we encourage you to review CIRA’s full terms and conditions.
Your personal information can remain confidential in the public WHOIS database if you activate the privacy option through CIRA. For more information on terms and conditions, we recommend contacting CIRA directly.
